When I have some downtime or desperately need an escape, I head outdoors to do some nature photography. I feel drawn to the eastern shore of Maryland and I often go straight to Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge. Nature is where my journey in photography began and it sure was harder than it looked. I literally learned how to use my DSLR camera taking wildlife and scenic pictures in some pretty challenging situations. We all should take time to do what we love and for me it's photographing the great outdoors whenever possible.
